Healthy lifestyle for everyone: what surprises rural sports centers

New forms of leisure for young people are emerging in small villages. Social activists who are trying to change life in their native villages offer a variety of initiatives. Today we will tell you how the residents of the village named after M.Shamenov of the Kyzylorda region created a new sports center "Salauatty auyl".

An initiative group of young people was able to turn the idea into reality: Satbai Seraliuly, Isatai Yerbatyr, Narbota Serali.

The guys managed to implement an interesting project within the framework of a small grant allocated by order of the Ministry of Information and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

"All residents of our village dreamed about the appearance of a sports center or club. When we opened it, it was clear how happy everyone was about such an event. After all, our young people have nowhere to spend their leisure time. But at the same time, we wanted the younger generation to spend time usefully: doing sports, leading a healthy lifestyle. As you know, only a healthy nation can be competitive. And young people living in rural areas should not stay away. We want our younger generation to be on the right path," says Satbai Seraliuly.

By their example, the young people showed their fellow villagers that today there is enough desire and perseverance to achieve the goal.

Last year, the project "Organization of a set of measures aimed at the development of civic initiatives in rural areas" was implemented in Kazakhstan.

All the best initiatives within the framework of the project took place thanks to grant support. One of such projects is "Salauatty auyl", implemented in the village of Zhalagash district of Kyzylorda region.

Entrance to the sports center is free. All residents managed to evaluate the usefulness of this project. The new organization is visited by people of different ages. After all, there is the necessary equipment for sports. With the 500 thousand tenge won, the initiative group purchased table tennis equipment, wall horizontal bars, special exercise equipment, boxing gloves, pears and other necessary accessories.

Satbai Seraliuly also shared his plans for the near future. According to him, the guys at the center intend to hold sports competitions among young people in the near future.

Recall that 60 small grants were implemented throughout the country for the development of civic initiatives aimed at improving life in rural areas in 2021.
