The screening of the historical television series about Zhangir Khan has begun

The TV channel "Qazaqstan" began showing the 12-episode series "Sarai syry", which was filmed by order of the Ministry of Information and Social Development.

The plot centers on the life story of Zhangir Khan, who ruled the Bukeev Horde from 1823 to 1845. The creators of the series told not only about the internal processes in the Horde, but also about important world historical events. The project also reveals the complex and multifaceted personality of both Khan Zhangir himself and other historical characters.

"In the series, we paid special attention to the role and significance of Khansha Fatima, the third wife of Zhangir Khan. Fatima was the daughter of the Orenburg Mufti. The last years of the Khanate are full of intense historical events concerning the personality of Isatai and Makhambet. Although most of the events in the series are historical facts, in the script they are combined with elements of a work of art," said project manager Arman Skabyluly.

The director of the series is Bakyttas Sanitas. In the TV series, the role of Zhangir Khan was played by Medgat Omirali, the role of Fatima was played by Amin Mektepbayev, the role of Isatai batyr was played by Nurlan Sagnaev, the role of Makhambet Utemisov was played by Darkhan Suleimenov.

The series "Sarai syry" can be watched on the air of the channel "Qazaqstan" from February 7 to February 22 at 21:30 hours.
