Young Kazakhstanis call family, health and friendship the key values

During the analysis within the framework of the ninth issue of the National Report "Youth of Kazakhstan – 2021: 30 years of Independence", which was considered in the context of the 30th anniversary of Independence, several important characteristics of the current development of youth were identified. 

Thus, the basic values of young people have remained unchanged over the past 5 years. The key value among young people, as in previous years are family - 82.5%, health – 45.6% in second place, friendship – 23.1% in third place. 

72.3% of the young people surveyed consider themselves completely healthy, 44.8% undergo preventive examination. It is important to note that there is a positive trend in the process of involving young people in mass sports – 60.9% of young people systematically engage in sports. There is also a positive trend in the scientific field: over the past 9 years, the number of scientists under the age of 35 has increased by 21%.

In general, 78% of young people look to the future with confidence, as well as calmly.
