Lessons in their native language were held for Kazakhs from 12 countries of the world

In 2021 with the support of the Ministries of Information and Social Development, Foreign Affairs, «Otandastar Foundation» opened 31 online classes for the study of the Kazakh language in 12 countries of the world.

In August and December of this year, classes were held in the speaking club format.  

Thanks to this, 1 391 representatives of the Kazakh diasporas of Turkey, Russia, USA, Great Britain, Belgium, Germany, France, Iran, Kyrgyzstan, Ukraine, Mongolia and Belarus conducted 780 online lessons. 336 participants were awarded certificates. 

For the constant possibility of self-study of the Kazakh language, 30 online lessons on the study of the Kazakh language are posted in the video hosting "YouTube".

 This year the implementation of other important measures aimed at strengthening cultural and humanitarian ties with compatriots and promoting the cultural heritage of the Kazakh people continued. Thus, we recall that this year "Abai üiı"  cultural and business house was opened in the capital of the Kyrgyz Republic. Thus, the number of countries where cultural and business houses operate has reached 6: Turkey, Germany, Ukraine, Russia, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan. 

Especially important was the Small Kazakh Kurultai in Istanbul in September this year, which was organized in honor of the 30th anniversary of Kazakhstan's Independence by «Otandastar Foundation» and the World Association of Kazakhs with the support of the Ministry of Information and Social Development and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan. 

Also this year 2 Memorandums of Cooperation were signed with the Kazakh-German Friendship Community and the Association of Kazakhs in Japan. 

In order to develop and expand cultural, humanitarian and business ties and constructive cooperation with Kazakh cultural centers, Kazakh communities, foreign institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan abroad, 15 events, 20 meetings, 4 conferences, 4 online-offline projects were held in 2021 with the participation of more than 4,500 compatriots from 20 countries of the world.
