Unique archival materials of the Kazakh radio will be available to schoolchildren and students

With the support of the Ministry of Information and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, an audio collection of works from the "Golden Fund" of radio has been published for the centenary of the Kazakh Radio. 

«The Amanat» audio collection includes unique archival recordings of Kazakh speakers and performers. This collection includes original audio recordings from 1954. In total, the archival fund of the TV and Radio Corporation "Kazakhstan" has more than 110 000 historical and archival video and audio recordings stored since the 1940s. The total duration of archival materials is 42 thousand hours. 

The collection of archival recordings of the audio collection is divided into 7 categories: "Dauir uni", "Atadan kalgan asyl soz", "Batyrlar zhyry", "An oneri", "Kui", "Salt-dastur" and "Ertegi".

The section "Dauir uni" includes recordings of the voices of 100 famous folk figures of the era, such as M. Yerzhanov, M. Auezov, S. Mukanov, I. Esenberlin, A. Suleimenov, B. Sokpakbayev, G. Musrepov, M. Alimbayev, recorded in different years.

The section "Atadan kalgan asyl soz" includes unique recordings of akyns and folk performers collected in various folklore and philological expeditions across Kazakhstan since 1948. The duration of these recordings is 35 hours. 

There are 50 original versions recorded in the category "Batyrlar zhyry". 

In the section "An oneri" you can hear audio clips from the treasury of voices of K. Bayzhanov, K. Azerbayev, K.Babakov, A. Kashaubayev, Zh. Yelebekov, Zh. Karmenov, Zh.Omarov, G. Kurmangaliev, M.Eshekeyev, S. Abeuov. 

In the "Golden Fund" of the Kazakh Radio, in addition to recordings of unique interviews with prominent figures of the country, there is also a large collection of Kazakh kuis collected by different generations of archivists since 1948. The section "Kui" contains recordings of 100 kuis performed by D.Nurpeisova, L.Mukhitova, K.Zhantileuov, N.Tlendiyev, Sh.Abiltaev. The Salt-dastur section stores recordings of such national songs as "Synsu", "Besik zhyry", "Zhar-zhar", "Betashar", "Zharapazan", "Zhoktau". 

Since 1959 Kazakh Radio has been collecting and storing programs for children. The heading "Ertegi" contains recordings of 350 radio releases, in which about 100 variants of such popular fairy tales as "Yerden atanyn ertegileri", "Zamzagul azhenin ertegileri", "Aidos atanyn ertegileri" and "Sauyk azhenin ertegileri" were once voiced.

The audio collection is stored on flash cards, and electronic versions of the collection are also available on the Internet: you can listen through a QR code at the end of each section on the website of Kazakh Radio and on the portal of the corporation "Kazakhstan" altynqor.com . 

It is planned that these unique materials will be available for the needs of schoolchildren and students and will be used in libraries of regional centers of the country and republican universities. All this will contribute to the promotion of cultural heritage among the younger generation of Independent Kazakhstan.
