Regarding the Private decision of the Military Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the need to pay attention to violations of the requirements of the legislation by a journalist

The Ministry of Information and Social Development regarding the Private decree of the Military Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated October 5 this year on the need to pay attention to gross and repeated violations of the requirements of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the principles of the media, T. The Ministry adheres to the position as stated earlier in the letter of the Information Committee sent to the Military Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan that in the materials posted on the Internet resource sotreport.kz, there are no grounds for suspending or terminating the activity of the Internet resource.

At the same time, we note that the violations reflected in the private ruling of the Military Court relate more to aspects of journalistic ethics.

The MISD will protect the rights of journalists on an ongoing basis, in the exercise of their official duties. Journalists have the right to cover the course of trials.

At the same time, we also call on all mass media to observe journalistic ethics and be objective and reliable when distributing materials.
