At the initiative of the Ministry of Information and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, since September 2021, the implementation of a two-year educational program for the preparation of masters in ethnopolitology has begun at the L.N.Gumilev ENU. This is the first educational program in Kazakhstan and Central Asia aimed at training professional specialists studying the political conditionality of the development of interethnic relations.
It is planned that specialists who have received education under this program, having studied the interethnic situation, will be able to prepare an examination for government agencies and research centers.
The program is designed in accordance with professional standards. Also, the program takes into account the Dublin descriptors based on the five main learning outcomes: knowledge and understanding, using knowledge in practice, drawing conclusions, communication skills and learning skills. In addition, the program takes into account the European Qualifications System (EQS) with its framework design describing a generalized structure of educational qualifications at all levels, comparable to national educational qualifications systems.
It should be noted that the presentation of the first educational program in Kazakhstan and Central Asia for the preparation of masters in ethnopolitology took place on April 28, 2021, on the eve of the XXIX session of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan.
Currently, within the framework of the educational program "Ethnopolitology", innovative disciplines are being taught: "Ethnopolitical processes in the modern world", "Kazakhstan", "Halyktan", "Service to society", etc.
