Republican lecture hall on the promotion of the Kazakh model of social harmony and national unity in East Kazakhstan region

A two-day republican lecture on the promotion of the Kazakh model of social harmony and national unity, held with the assistance of the Ministry of Information and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, has been completed today in the East Kazakhstan region.

The event was attended by Deputy of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan O. Bulavkina, deputies of the Majilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan from the APK N. Dementieva, A. Khamedov, Deputy Akim of the East Kazakhstan region A. Mukhamedchinov, Head of the Department of the Committee for the Development of Interethnic Relations of the MISD of the Republic of Kazakhstan B.Zhark, members of the APK, representatives of central state and local executive bodies, as well as ethno-cultural associations, etc.

Recall that the main purpose of the lecture is to strengthen the unity of the people on the basis of a common cultural code, common values and national historical consciousness of all Kazakhstanis.

As part of the lecture, the issues of participation of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan in the implementation of the President's Address "Unity of the people and systemic reforms are a solid foundation for the prosperity of the country", as well as further measures to strengthen social harmony and national unity in the region were considered.

The delegation of speakers met with the teaching staff and students of educational institutions of Ust-Kamenogorsk, the families of the labor collective of the Maslenitsa crops of the Glubokovsky district of East Kazakhstan region. During the meetings, the speakers discussed topical issues related to the role of the state language in the value system of Kazakh society, the prevention of conflicts on interethnic grounds in the media space and the youth environment, the involvement of the potential of civil society institutions to strengthen social harmony, the development of the institute of ethnomediation.

Moreover, an expanded meeting of the Council of Mothers of the APK of East Kazakhstan Region was held at the Umit orphanage, in which topical issues of modern society were discussed, where the main role is assigned to women as keepers of the family hearth and active members of modern society.

The program of the event also provided for an exhibition of products of folk art, achievements of ethnic groups in various fields of culture, education, sports, industry and business.

At the end of the event, the speakers called for the study of the state language by all ethnic groups and the consolidation of ethnic groups on the basis of common civil values. Representatives of ethnic groups agreed that the time has come when all ethnic groups should unite to ensure peace and harmony in the country, patriotic education of children and youth.

It should be noted that this event is the last final lecture for the current year. In general, since the beginning of 2021, a series of republican lectures on the promotion of a unique Kazakh model of social harmony and national unity have been held in Turkestan, Zhambyl, Kostanay, Mangistau, Pavlodar and other regions.
