MISD RK took part in "Media kuryltay-2021"

"Media kuryltay-2021" on the development of the media market of Kazakhstan on the topic "Media market in the Covid era. Reboot and calls" took place.

 

This year's annual media conference was held in  hybrid format with the participation of representatives of government agencies, media and the academic community.

 

Chairman of the Information Committee Kanat Iskakov made a welcoming speech on behalf of the Ministry of Information and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan. At the same time, within the framework of the panel session "Changes in the legislation on mass media. Where is the media market moving?" Kanat Iskakov told about the latest and proposed changes to the media legislation.

 

In general, the participants spoke in detail about the issues of the media market in the era of the pandemic, trust in the media and public opinion management, legislative regulation of the media, changes in journalism formats, problems of Kazakh-language journalism, as well as the interaction of the press services of public authorities with media representatives.

 

The organizer of the conference "Media kuryltay-2021" is the Representative Office of Internews in Kazakhstan and the Kazakhstan Press Club.
