Dauren Abayev had a meeting with the Executive Director of WAM News Agency Mohamed Jalal Alrayssi

At the World Government Summit, within the meeting, Kazinform International News Agency Director General Assel Tulegenova Executive Director of WAM News Agency Mr. Alrayssi signed a memorandum of cooperation. The document contemplates sharing the experience, news materials, information services, as well as cooperation and coordination between the parties in terms of their membership in professional associations and international organizations. The document also provides for journalists’ exchange traineeship programs.

“We have long been closely cooperating with the Republic of Kazakhstan, and with this agreement we hope to just intensify our countries’ interoperation, specifically, in the field of information, as well as to facilitate news sharing and render more complete information on each other. We see great opportunities and prospects in our mutual cooperation. We also hope that, having started working in this area, we will be able to enlarge our opportunities”, Mohamed Alrayssi said.

“We are grateful to Arab party for the invitation. This will contribute to continuing the two countries’ interaction. We are interested in cooperation with UAE. Our nations’ leaders are doing their best to make these relationships fruitful. In addition, as part of our cooperation, we are going to more fully highlight the oncoming EXPO 2017 World Exhibition to be held in Kazakhstan’s capital city in the period June 10 to September 10, 2017. We hope for fruitful cooperation”, Minister of Information and Communications Dauren Abayev told.
