The creative association "Kazakh Animation" will be created

Vice-Minister of Information and Social Development Bolat Tlepov announced the opening of the Kazakh Animation Creative Association on the basis of the «Kazakhfilm» film Studio at the International Festival of Animated Films AMEN in Turkestan.

- Education of the younger generation through the art of animation is one of the important tasks of the national project "Rukhani zhangyru". As you know, this year marks the 54th anniversary of the release of the first Kazakh cartoon. During this time, domestic animation has reached great heights. The most important thing is that a lot of talents have grown, a national school has been formed. However, time is moving forward. Our country has every opportunity to keep up. There are creative and educated young people with knowledge and skills, private studios that turn their careers into profitable professions, new ideas and new initiatives, a creative audience and, most importantly, these products are in demand in our country," the Vice Minister said.

In his speech Bolat Tlepov noted that there is no system that strictly regulates and conducts public procurement. The Vice Minister said that a new system of support for creative teams engaged in animation will be created.

- Therefore, starting next year, within the framework of the adopted national project, the creative association «Kazakh Animation» will start working at the «Kazakhfilm» film studio. Its main task is to support creative teams in the domestic animation market and create conditions for expanding the range of domestic products. Secondly, the formation of a full-fledged national information resource through the transformation of the art of animation not only as children's content, but also into the language of cinema and advertising, computer games and web communication. Thirdly, of course, to raise the level of Kazakh animation to the international level by establishing close ties with representatives of the global animation industry, including with foreign colleagues participating in today's festival," B. Tlepov said.

Recall that on October 29-30 Turkestan hosts the festival of animated films AMEN, which is attended by qualified animators from Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Bashkortostan (Russia), Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tatarstan (Russia), Tajikistan and Turkey.
