A.Balayeva: Atyrau carefully preserves the traditions and customs of our people

A series of meetings of the Minister of Information and Social Development Aida Balayeva in Atyrau was held with members of the Public Council, representatives of the creative intelligentsia, as well as with the assets of the regional akimat.

 

Akim of the region Makhambet Dosmukhambetov took part in the meeting of the minister with the assets of the region.

An important part of the program was a meeting with members of the Public Council of the region. A.Balayeva spoke about the work on coordinating the activities of public councils, including taking into account the legislative amendments adopted this year. She urged Atyrau members of the public council to use actively and effectively the legislative powers given to them for the benefit of the region.

 

A separate meeting was held with representatives of the intelligentsia, where the Minister presented the National project "Ulttyk rukhani zhangyru" and told about the planned activities in its main three directions: increasing the intellectual potential of the country and the status of the State language, implementing a set of measures to increase the availability of services in the field of culture "El rukhy", as well as creating new opportunities for young people "Tauelsizdik urpaktary".

The National Project includes seven tasks, more than 20 indicators and more than 60 major events.

 

The Minister stressed: "Atyrau is a special place on the map of Kazakhstan, where national traditions and customs are carefully preserved. The region is rich not only in oil, it is a holy land with a rich historical and cultural heritage. This understanding is important now, when there is a rethinking of our history within the framework of the "Rukhani zhangyru" program and new assessments of the past events of the past appear." A.Balayeva stressed that the Head of State assigns a special role to the national intelligentsia in the development of the country and called for active assistance in the implementation of the National Project on the ground.

 

At the end of the working trip to Atyrau region, the Minister visited the Zhylyoy district, where she held a meeting with local residents and visited the Akmeshit necropolis.

 

It should be noted that thanks to the gradual normalization of the epidemiological situation in the country, visits to the regions and meetings of ministers with the population are resumed. So, earlier on the implementation of the instructions of the Head of State, A.Balayeva held similar meetings in Nur-Sultan, Almaty, as well as in the West Kazakhstan region.
