A. Balayeva met with the Sub-Regional Coordinator of the International Organization for Migration

Today, the meeting of the Minister of Information and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan A.Balayeva with the Sub-Regional Coordinator for Central Asia at the International Organization for Migration (IOM), Head of Mission in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan Zeynal Hajiyev.

The meeting was an introductory nature. The Minister familiarized with the activities of the ministry, including the ongoing work in the field of diaspora policy.

1. Hajiyev noted the important role of Kazakhstan in solving the complex task of creating a modern migration management system.

The parties discussed priority areas of cooperation, including the project under development "Support of the efforts of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan to interact with foreign diasporas".

Following the meeting, the parties informed each other about current and planned events and expressed their willingness to cooperate.
