More than 100 rural NGOs have identified "points" of growth and development of civic initiatives in rural areas

MISD continues to conduct a series of dialogue discussions with rural NGOs.

On October 26, 2021, a platform was organized jointly with representatives of rural NGOs in the Northern and Eastern regions.

By the way, the event is dedicated to the promotion and implementation of the President's Address to the people of Kazakhstan regarding the development of a mechanism to support civil initiatives in rural areas.

The speaker was Gulbara Sultanova, Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Civil Society Affairs. Proposals for the development of rural NGOs were voiced by: the heads of the Efremov branch of the Pavlodar House of Geography Svetlana Shin, NGO "Ulagat" Ayauzhan Ashimova, Chairmen NGO "Jarqyn Bolashaq" Sultan Shaimaganbet, SF "Ecological Club "Neco" Nauryzbek Birmagambetov.

During the meeting, the participants voiced recommendations for solving problematic issues, exchanged views.

According to them, the main barrier to the development of rural NGOs is the lack of information awareness of NGOs, the lack of rural civic centers, grant projects, as well as an insufficient number of state orders aimed at solving the problems of the local community.

In the future, similar sites are planned to be held with the southern, central and western regions.
