A TEDx meeting with NEET category youth took place

A TEDx meeting was held with young people not involved in the educational process and employment (NEET category).

The speakers of the event were: Chairman of the youth wing of "Jas Otan" - Nurzhan Zhetpisbayev; member of the Presidential Youth Personnel Reserve - Sagynysh Nurkimbayev; young akyn, director of the Unified Call Center 109, blogger-journalist - Abzal Kabdrash; showman, director of IE "Kausar" - Aidar Kurumbayev; founder of the BUKAFILM team, producer of the series "Brothers" - Bolat Suleimenov.

During the meeting, the speakers talked about opportunities for young people; healthy lifestyle and social activity; the necessary skills for employment and success; support for young entrepreneurs; art, PR and media management, shared their knowledge and experience in the development of cinema.

Chairman of the YW "Jas Otan" Nurzhan Zhetpisbayev noted that the event was organized within the framework of the project "Development and implementation of measures for the socialization of youth not involved in the educational process and employment (NEET category)". Within the framework of the project office, together with the regional branches of "Jas Otan", information and explanatory work is carried out on the NEET state youth support programs, assistance in paperwork, employment and training. For the target audience, consultations are held at the place of residence to conduct extended work with NEET youth. A pool of active youth of about 2 thousand people has been created to conduct information and explanatory work among NEET youth about state programs to support youth, assistance in paperwork, employment, and training.

The TEDx meeting was held at the Regional Universal Scientific Library named after S.Toraighyrov in order to stimulate communication and spread ideas among young people of the NEET category.

The project is implemented by the Corporate Fund "Bolashak" in the West Kazakhstan region together with the Youth Wing "Jas Otan" within the framework of the state grant of the NGO "Center for Support of Civil Initiatives" with the support of the Ministry of Information and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
