Kazakhstanis celebrate the Day of Kindness

On October 9 Kazakhstan celebrates the Day of Kindness - a holiday organized within the framework of the nationwide project "Marathon of Good Deeds". According to the concept of the holiday, in each region of the country there is a stand with "good advice" in offline or online format, from where anyone can take a card, do the good deed indicated in it and share it on social networks with a mark and tag of the official page of the Marathon.

The campaign was supported offline in Almaty, Atyrau, Kostanay, Pavlodar and Aktobe regions.

So, in Taldykorgan, the installation "Heart of Goodness" was installed in the TH "Atameken". To date over 120 "tips of kindness" have been performed from the installation, and new cards appear as needed. According to representatives of the regional akimat, in the future it is planned to transfer the "Heart of Goodness" to various places of large crowds of people.

In Aktobe in addition to installing a stand with "good advice", the volunteer group "Zhas Sakshy" initiated a volleyball tournament among students with the support of the regional YRC in honor of the celebration of the National Day of Kindness. Within the framework of the event, all proceeds from charity will be transferred to the treatment of Alibek Nurbaievich, chairman of the public organization "Alash" for people with disabilities.

And in Pavlodar on October 9 an action is held in honor of the Day of Goodness in the TH "Batyr Mall". On this day, residents of the city will be invited to support the action with good deeds: donate blood, feed a stray animal, give way in transport, etc.

Kostanay residents wishing to take part in the celebration of the National Day of Goodness can visit "Zhastar saraiy": there is an installation with good advice installed, from where anyone can take a card, do the good deed indicated in it and share it on social networks with a mark and tag of the official Marathon page.

In online format, the campaign was supported in all regions of Kazakhstan: network users actively use an AR- mask with "good advice", which can be found in the official account @qaiyrymdy_ister_marafony.

We remind you that the nationwide project "Marathon of Good Deeds" was launched in February this year on the initiative of the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev as part of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of Kazakhstan's Independence. The project is being implemented with the support of the Center for Support of Civil Initiatives and the Ministry of Information and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
