A wellness center in the Turkestan region was opened under the auspices of the People ‘Assembly (PA)

With the participation of Deputy Chairman of the  People ‘Assembly Marat Azilkhanov, Akim of the region and Chairman of the PA of Turkestan region Umirzak Shukeyev the opening of the medical and wellness center "Al Kausar" took place in Karabulak rural district of Sayram district of Turkestan region.

The medical center was built with the support of a member of the Uzbek ethno-cultural association Sherzad Nishanov, designed for 70 beds. The volume of investments amounted to 120 million tenge, 35 people were employed.

The medical institution is fully equipped with modern medical equipment necessary for physiotherapy, cleansing of the intestinal tract, treatment of neurological and heart diseases.

1. Shukeev drew attention to the achievements of the dynamically developing medical sphere of the Turkestan region, noting the increase in the number of medical institutions built within the framework of public-private partnership.

"The volume of investments in medicine is growing every day. Private clinics are being built in Ordabasy, Kentau, Shardarinsky district. All efforts will be made further for the development of the medical sphere," the akim of the region said.

In turn, M.Azilkhanov noted the importance of the participation of institutions and structures of the PA on the ground in the implementation of socially important initiatives and projects, which is a manifestation of civic patriotism, and also makes an important contribution to strengthening unity and harmony in society.

"A significant number of representatives of various ethnic groups live in the southern region of our country. In the Turkestan region, in Shymkent, most of them successfully conduct their business, thereby providing jobs for the population of the region. I am sure that this new medical center will make a huge contribution to improving the health of our country, providing jobs for many of our citizens. This is an example to follow."

Earlier, the Deputy Chairman of the PA paid a working visit to the city of Shymkent, as well as to the Kazygurt, Saryagash, Tolebi, Keles districts of Turkestan region. He held a number of meetings with the heads of the PA structures and the chairmen of ethno-cultural associations, during which he noted the importance of the PA's participation and special attention in educational and socially-oriented work.
