Today, on September 22 with the support of Internews-Kazakhstan and Kazpressclub, a meeting of representatives of the MISD of the Republic of Kazakhstan, press secretaries and other interested persons with the OECD expert group on communications took place.
The COVID-19 pandemic has strengthened the role of communication with the population as a key component of good governance.
During the OECD meeting the results of the Country Survey conducted in the field of State communications (in 46 countries) were presented.
Experts shared country-wide trends, problems, best practices and lessons learned.
The participants asked questions to the OECD experts and exchanged views. Both sides expressed interest in conducting such a review for Kazakhstan.
An agreement was also reached on further cooperation of the IOR with the OECD on improving communications between the state and society and the inclusion of a representative of the MISD in the OECD expert group.
It should be noted that the research conducted by the OECD is of great practical interest for MISD in the context of the implementation of the Concept of Public Administration Development in the Republic of Kazakhstan until 2030.
