A meeting was held with the heads of ethnic and cultural associations of the PA of the Mangystau region

The meeting of the Deputy Chairman of the People` Assembly (PA) M. Azilkhanov with the heads of ethno-cultural associations of the Mangystau region was held in the House of Friendship of Aktau.

The event was attended by the akim-Chairman of the PA of the Mangystau region N. Nogayev, representatives of the Ministry of Information and Social Development, heads of Chechen-Ingush, Armenian, Azerbaijani, Tatar, German, Ukrainian, Romanian-Moldovan, Belarusian, Korean, Jewish ethno-cultural associations of the region.

During the meeting, current issues related to the activities of ethno-cultural associations and the work plans of the PA to strengthen inter-ethnic harmony and national unity were discussed.

In particular, the issues of implementing project approaches in the activities of ethno-cultural associations, promoting the State language, charity and volunteer work, developing the PA youth movement, etc.

At the end of the meeting, M. Azilkhanov handed letters of thanks to individual representatives of ethno-cultural associations and thanked them for their work to strengthen peace, friendship and harmony in the region.
