The meeting with the Azerbaijani delegation was held in the MISD of the Republic of Kazakhstan

Today at the Ministry of Information and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan Aida Balayeva held a meeting with representatives of the Republic of Azerbaijan, who participate in the work of the Eurasian Media Forum in Nur-Sultan.

The event was attended by K. Hassanov - Head of the Media Department of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Azerbaijan, A. Ismailov - Head of the National Council for Television and Radio, O. Sattarov - Deputy Head of the Media Department of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Azerbaijan, A. Atamoglanov – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Republic of Kazakhstan, R. Mammadov – Chairman of Azerbaijan Television and Radio Broadcasting.

The Minister congratulated A. Atamoglanov on his recent appointment to the post of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Republic of Kazakhstan and familiarized him with the main activities of the Ministry.

At the same time, Aida Balayeva asked for assistance in distributing the broadcasting of the «Qazaq TV» channel in the network of cable operators on the territory of Azerbaijan, and also expressed the readiness of the Ministry to cooperate in the implementation of joint projects with Azerbaijani TV channels, exchange of experience between specialists of the two countries in the media sphere.

1. Balayeva invited representatives of Azerbaijan to take part in the upcoming media week «Astana Media Week», which will be held on September 27-28 this year.

Following the meeting, the parties expressed interest in further mutually beneficial cooperation.
