The Kandases support the idea of the need for a new Concept of migration policy

The main provisions of the State of the Nation Address of the Head of State K. Tokayev «Unity of the people and systemic reforms are a solid foundation for the country's prosperity» were discussed at an online conference in Nur-Sultan. The event was attended by representatives of the front offices of the Otandastar Foundation from all regions and Kandas.

 

During the discussion, the initiatives of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the development of a new Concept of migration policy were noted.

 

Thus, the participants agreed that it is necessary to reconsider approaches to the distribution of benefits to citizens moving from the south to the north. For example, in considering the possibility of providing displaced citizens with land plots for building houses, engaging in agriculture, reviewing the mechanisms for allocating pasture lands.

 

The participants agreed that the President's State raises topical issues that can contribute to the adaptation of the Kandases arriving in their historical homeland.

The event was organized by the «Otandastar Foundation» with the support of the Ministry of Information and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
