Issues of development of youth resource centers were discussed

Today on August 25 a strategic session on the development of youth resource centers was held in online format with the participation of the Heads of regional YRCs, organized by the Committee for Youth and Family Affairs, the «Youth» Research Center and the Community of Youth Workers.

During the session, the Community of Youth Workers presented the project «Adoption of a set of measures aimed at improving the activities of youth resource centers», the purpose of which is to create opportunities for self-realization and disclosure of the potential of young people in their native region.

The objectives of the project are methodological support and promotion of youth initiatives, raising the level of awareness of young people about the possibilities of self-realization in the region, involving young people in the social life of the region, creating a unified model of competence of employees of youth resource centers.

In addition, the project provides for the development and implementation of an educational program for improving the skills of YRC employees based on the priority areas of the YRC's work, the interests and needs of young people and the preparation of a Development Plan for 2021-2025 for youth resource centers

The Heads of the regional YRCs exchanged ideas and made suggestions on improving the effectiveness of the activities of youth resource centers.

The project is implemented by the Community of Youth Workers within the framework of a state grant from the Civil Initiatives Support Center.
