Acceptance of applications for Prizes for NGOs starts

Very soon, from July 1 to September 1, 2021, the Ministry of Information and Public Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan will accept applications for the award for non-governmental organizations (NGOs).
According to tradition, applications are accepted in 15 areas indicated in Article 5 of the Law "On State Social Orders, Grants and Awards for Non-Governmental organizations". The prizes are awarded on the basis of the Rules for Awarding Prizes to NGOs.
By the way, since 2017, 223 NGOs have become winners of the Award, which have made a significant contribution to the social development of the country.
This year, every NGO registered in the territory of the Republic and providing information to the NGO Database can also submit an application.
Dear leaders and representatives of NGOs, if your organization is actively working and contributes to the solution of socially significant issues of the population, we invite you to apply for the Award by submitting the following documents:
1) application for participation in the competition for awarding prizes for NGOs in accordance with Annex 1 to the "Rules for Awarding Prizes for NGOs" approved by Order No. 52 of the Minister of Religious Affairs and Civil Society of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated May 25, 2018. (hereinafter-the Rules);
2) the application form of the award applicant according to Appendix 2 to the Rules;
3) characteristics of the activities of the award applicant in accordance with Annex 3 to the Rules (with the attachment of supporting materials);
4) recommendations of (at least two) representatives of the public (NGOs) and (or) state bodies in order to confirm the implementation of projects and the achieved results of joint work in the proposed direction over the past 3 (three) years, indicating contact details;
5) copies of award diplomas, certificates, letters of thanks (if available);
6) copies of articles, publications of the applicant or about the applicant (if available);
7) copies of the constituent documents.
Along with this, when submitting an application, it is mandatory to take into account that:
- the same NGO cannot be nominated for the award in more than one nomination;
- it is not allowed to re-nominate for the award within three years after receiving it.
Applications for the nomination of NGOs for the award are submitted to the Committee for Civil Society Affairs of the Ministry of Information and Public Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan from July 1 to September 1 inclusive (until 18:30 hours) via mail ueu_syilygy@qogam.gov.kz (in PDF format) and (or) on purpose on paper and electronic media (CD-disks or USB flash drives in DOC, DOCX, PDF format) at:
