Rehabilitation of victims of political repression was discussed at the site "Azamattyq alan"

Today, under the chairmanship of the Vice Minister of Information and Social Development Bolat Tlepov, a regular meeting of the discussion platform "Azamattyk alak" was held on the topic of rehabilitation of victims of political repression.

The event was attended by representatives of the expert and scientific community, civil sector and leaders of public opinion.

During the discussion, the following topics were considered: "Hunger, repression, mass resettlement - a difficult period of the twentieth century", "Propaganda of the followers of Alash in modern Kazakh journalism."

Bolat Tlepov noted: "The hardships of political repression in the 20-50s of the twentieth century are one of the most tragic periods in the history of our people."

Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan Khangeldi Abzhanov, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Shamek Tleubaev, Executive Secretary of the Aikyn newspaper Amangeldi Kurmet and other famous personalities took an active part in the discussion of the issues.

Based on the results of the discussion, specific directions and new approaches to the rehabilitation of victims of political repression will be formed with the participation of historians.
