A regular meeting of the Commission on Access to Information was held

Today, under the chairmanship of the Vice-Minister of Information and Social Development Bolat Tlepov, a regular meeting of the Commission on Access to Information was held.

At the meeting, the Ministry presented a draft annual report on the state of the sphere of access to information in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In his report, the Director of the Department for the Development of State and Society Communications B. Rakhimov outlined the structure of the report, and also informed the members of the Commission about the work carried out to publicly discuss the project. It should be noted that the comments and suggestions received from government bodies and members of the Commission were taken into account in the report.

Members of the commission B. Nurgazieva, O. Didenko, R. Oshakbaev also spoke at the meeting.

The members of the commission gave positive feedback on the content of the report. At the same time, O. Didienko made a proposal to empower the Commission to monitor the implementation of the report.

Following the meeting, the Commission developed a number of recommendations for the content of the report.
