The next meeting of the Council for Youth Policy under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held
The regular XXIV meeting of the Council for Youth Policy under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held under the chairmanship of the First Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan Dauren Abayev.
The meeting of the council was attended by members of the Government, deputies of the Mazhilis, heads of republican youth organizations, experts in the field of youth policy, as well as deputy akims of the regions in charge of youth policy issues in the regions.
– During the years of Independence, under the leadership of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbasy Nursultan Nazarbayev, the foundation of youth policy was laid in the country. In continuation of this policy, our President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev also pays special attention to youth issues. In addition, in accordance with the instruction of the Head of State, voiced in the article "Independence is most expensive", further improvement of the activities of the Council for Youth Policy under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan has been started, " Dauren Abayev said.
Deputy Head of the Department of Internal Policy of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Secretary of the Council Yevgeny Glotov reported on the new format of the Council for Youth Policy under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Minister of Information and Public Development Aida Balayeva spoke about the strategic tasks set for the Ministry in the field of youth policy. In particular, it is the development and introduction by the end of this year to the Parliament of amendments to the legislation on state youth policy, which will legislate the concepts of "Youth Development Index", "Youth social services", "NEET category youth". The National project "Tauelsizdik Urpaktary" will be developed, which will combine all measures of state support for youth in a single document, as well as establish and award grants to support talented youth "Tauelsizdik Urpaktary".
"The Youth Development Index is aimed at unifying approaches to the implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of youth policy and increasing the responsibility of state bodies for achieving concrete results, especially on the ground," added Aida Balayeva.
Also, the members of the Council, Deputy Chairman of the Board of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan "Atameken" Olzhas Ordabayev made reports on certain areas of youth policy, who proposed to include questions about entrepreneurship in the program "Zhuzden Zhuirik".
Director of the Moscow branch of the Republican state Enterprise "Institute of Nuclear Physics", Candidate of Physics and Mathematics, Associate Professor Maxim Zdorovets proposed to introduce long-term competitions in the field of grant financing of science with a 5-year implementation period, which will allow domestic scientists not only to set long-term goals, but also to bring promising research to a qualitatively new level, comparable to the level of foreign leaders of science.
Adil Kusmanov, consultant of the expert and analytical group of the Center for Analysis and Monitoring of Socio-Economic Reforms under the President, suggested increasing the number of areas for the state youth award, including business, IT, socio-economic development and public administration, etc., in which young people also have achievements.
Deputy Director of the Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Studies under the President Sabina Sadieva noted the need for targeted work with young people in the context of age groups.
Following the meeting, Chairman of the Council Dauren Abayev gave a number of specific instructions.
– All measures of state support should have an overall effect-to help young people form an effective life project. This applies to such things as professional orientation and the right choice of profession, taking responsibility for your health and disease prevention, issues of mental maturity, openness to common risk and pragmatism, " Dauren Abayev stressed.
The Council for Youth Policy under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan is the main dialogue platform for developing measures to improve the state youth policy in the country. This year, the Presidential Decree almost completely updated the composition of the council, which includes representatives of the Presidential Youth Personnel Reserve and the National Council of Public Trust, heads of republican youth organizations, deputies, experts in various industries.
