An online conference was held on the draft annual report on the state of access to information in Kazakhstan

The Ministry of Information and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Civil Alliance of Kazakhstan held an online conference, where they discussed the draft "Annual Report on the State of the Sphere of Access to Information in the Republic of Kazakhstan."

Bekzat Rakhimov, Director of the Department for the Development of State and Society Communications of the MIOR RK, presented the main theses of this project. The conference was also attended by Deputy Director of the Legislation Department of the Ministry of Justice Alma Mukanova, President of the Civil Alliance of Kazakhstan Banu Nurgazieva and others. Representatives of the Civil Alliance of Kazakhstan touched upon the issues of access to information related to the environment, as well as the procedure for discussing draft laws initiated by the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
