A. Balayeva held a meeting with representatives of NGOs in Almaty ⠀

Today the Minister of Information and Public Development Aida Balayeva discussed with representatives of NGOs the issues of the draft law on charity and volunteerism, grants.

The meeting was attended by the Chairman of the Board of the Soros-Kazakhstan Foundation A. Aidarkulova and the Program Director of the Soros-Kazakhstan Foundation B. Ayazbayeva, as well as the Director of the Kazakhstan International Bureau for Human Rights and Rule of Law E. Zhovtis, the expert on non-commercial law G. Kuzhekeyeva, the director of the Research Institute of Public Law of Caspian University R.Podoprigora.

The Minister spoke about state measures in the areas of charity, volunteerism, as well as about improving the mechanisms of state support for NGOs.
A. Balayeva noted that the development and support of charity and volunteerism is one of the key factors in the formation and development of civil society.
