The Rules for posting information on the Open Data Internet portal have been approved

On the basis of the amendments to the Law "On Access to Information", the Ministry of Information and Public Development (hereinafter referred to as the Ministry) is designated as the authorized body in the field of access to information. In this regard, the Ministry approved Order No. 144 of April 28, 2021 "On Approval of the Rules for Posting Information on the Open Data Internet Portal". This order passed the state registration in the Ministry of Justice on April 29, 2021 for No. 22651 ( https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/qogam/documents/details/163493?lang=ru ).
The Rules define the procedure for assigning electronic information resources to open data, as well as the formation and placement of open data on the open data Internet portal, including the format of their presentation.
The Rules, in addition to state bodies, provide for quasi-public sector entities and performers of the functions of central and (or) local executive bodies, which will post open data sets on their activities.
In accordance with the Rules, these information holders post open data on the Open Data portal in JSON format or using the API of the information holder (directly from the information systems of the information holders).
