The draft law was developed taking into account the proposals of the NGO-M.Kozhakhmet

Today, a public discussion of the draft law on volunteerism, charity, state social order and grants for NGOs was held online with the participation of public representatives of the Akmola, Kostanay, Karaganda, Pavlodar and North Kazakhstan regions.
During the meeting, Chairman of the Committee on Civil Society Affairs Madiyar Kozhakhmet noted that this draft law was developed taking into account international experience, proposals of state bodies, NGOs, charitable and volunteer organizations.
The participants of the meeting voiced problematic issues and proposals in these areas. An agreement was reached to continue further joint work in this direction.

The Ministry of Information and Public Development is holding a series of zonal public discussions on the draft law "On Amendments and Additions to certain Legislative Acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on volunteer activities, charity, state social order and grants for non-governmental organizations".
