The republican seminar "Ethnocultural traditions of educating the youth of Kazakhstan"

On April 16, 2021, in an online format, chaired by the Deputy Chairman of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan Z. Kuziev, a republican seminar "Ethnocultural traditions of educating the youth of Kazakhstan" was held.

The seminar was attended by deputies of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Zh.Ashimzhan, V.Nabiev, Chairman of the Committee for the Development of Interethnic Relations of the IIOR of the Republic of Kazakhstan G. Shoikin, heads and employees of the RSU and KSU "Kogamdyk Kelisim" movements of ANC "Zhagyru Zholy" and others.

During the seminar, socially significant projects for work with young people of the RSU and KSU "Kogamdyk Kelisim", ethnocultural associations and educational institutions, aimed at strengthening peace and harmony, the formation of Kazakhstani patriotism and civic identity, knowledge of the traditional culture of multiethnic Kazakhstan, were comprehensively considered.

In his speech, Chairman of the Committee for the Development of Interethnic Relations G. Shoikin noted the role of youth in the implementation of projects in the field of interethnic relations. He also spoke about the ANC projects aimed at increasing the potential of youth: “Become a leader”, “100 new faces: how to become successful”, “My success story is the success story of my country”, “Promote yourself”.

The chairman of the youth organization ANC "Zharasym" T. Dzhumurbayev spoke about the continuity of generations in the development of social harmony. A. Karapetian, chairman of the Association of Armenian Cultural Centers of Kazakhstan "Nairi" and A. Muradov, chairman of the Association of Chechens and Ingush of Kazakhstan "Vainakh" spoke about the consolidating role of ethnic traditions in the patriotic education of young people.

The leaders of educational institutions and ethnocultural associations from various regions of the country spoke about the high role of the school in the ethnocultural education of young people.

As a result of the seminar, recommendations were developed for the further involvement of young people in projects aimed at the formation of social harmony and national unity.
