60 small grants for civil initiatives in rural areas

A briefing on the social project "Organization of a set of events aimed at developing civic initiatives in the countryside" took place today in an online format.

The project is being implemented with the support of the "Center for Support of Civil Initiatives" and the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The event was attended by Madiyar Kozhakhmet, Chairman of the Civil Society Committee of the IIOR of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Lima Dias, Chairman of the Board of the Center for Support of Civil Initiatives, Aigul Dyusenova, President of the Grantee of the Association of Non-Governmental Organizations of Aktobe Region, as well as experts and project managers.

M. Kozhakhmet wished the grantees good luck. He noted that the work carried out by the state on the allocation of state grants for NGOs on civic initiatives in the countryside is of particular importance. So, he stressed that this year Kazakhstan celebrates the 30th anniversary of the independence of the state.

Lima Diaz spoke about the activities of the Center for the Support of Civil Initiatives (CSCI) in the field of supporting initiatives in the countryside and noted: “Last year, within the framework of CSCI projects, projects were implemented in all regions of the country. This year we continue to support rural residents. I am sure that this project will be a positive contribution to the development of rural areas, ”L.Dias said.

In turn, Aigul Dyusenova spoke about the project, goals and objectives of the grant recipient.

During the briefing, it was announced that it is planned, through the allocation of 60 small grants of 500 thousand tenge each, to help mobilize local communities, identify leaders in the development of rural initiatives and increase digital and financial literacy of the rural population.

Thus, grants will be allocated in 5 areas: "Digital literacy of the rural population", "Financial literacy of the rural population", "Increasing the level of knowledge of foreign languages ​​in education", "Increasing the level of knowledge of foreign languages ​​in the field of health care", "Increasing the level of knowledge of foreign languages ​​in the field of physical culture and sports ”.
