An expert meeting "Civil Identity and its components"was held in Nur-Sultan at the site of the Institute of Applied Ethnopolitical Studies of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan in an online format.
The event was attended by a deputy of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, members of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan and the Scientific and Expert Council, representatives of the Committee for the Development of Interethnic Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Institute of Public Policy "Nur Otan", the IPEI expert group, the Association of Departments of the APK, etc.

Majilis Deputy Berik Abdygaliuly noted that a wide range of experts should be involved in the study of identity issues, using the available results of sociological research.
Aigul Sadvokasova, Deputy Director of the Institute of Ethno-Cultural Studies, focused on the components that allow people to consider themselves full citizens of our country, and affect the sense of identity (place of birth, cultural similarity, etc.).
During the event, the participants exchanged views and gave a number of constructive suggestions to the topic of the expert meeting.
