A meeting was held with students studying in the field of religion

An online meeting of students in the field of religion with the Chairman of the Committee on Religious Affairs of the Ministry of Information and Public Development Yerzhan Nukezhanov was held.

At the meeting, the issues of improving the curricula in religious studies, Islamic studies, theology, industrial practice in specialization, as well as further employment of graduates were discussed.
During the meeting, Yerzhan Lukianov noted that Kazakhstan has created all the conditions for receiving religious education in Universities
and theological education in spiritual educational institutions of religious associations that implement professional training programs for the training of clergy.
It should be noted that every year 500 theologians, 200 religious scholars are graduated in Kazakhstan, who fill the need in the regions of the country, as well as more than 1000 specialists in the field of religion take advanced training courses.
At the same time, despite all the measures taken by the State on religious education, there is a shortage of qualified specialists for their further involvement in information, prevention and rehabilitation activities.
Yerzhan Nukezhanov called on the students to focus on the higher quality of their production practices.
At the end of the meeting, the student activists expressed their proposals for improving the sphere of religious education.
