Issues of organizing work on access to information were discussed in Atyrau region

Today, within the framework of the "Day of the Ministry of Information and Social Development in the Atyrau Region", the issues of organizing the work of the Commissioner for Access to Information were discussed.

Representatives of the Department for the Development of Communications of the State and Society held a seminar on the topic "Organization of work on intradepartmental monitoring and control of ensuring access to information."

The seminar was attended by 27 people - employees of the akim's apparatus, regional departments and district akimats of the Atyrau region.

The ministry explained the tasks and functions of the ombudsman, as well as gave concrete practical recommendations for his work. The main responsibility of the Commissioner will be internal monitoring and coordination of ensuring access to information.

Note that work to determine an authorized person or unit on access to information is being carried out in all state bodies in the implementation of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Amendments and Additions to Certain Legislative Acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Information Issues" signed by the Head of State on December 30, 2020.
