The Ministry held a strategic session in the Atyrau region on the issues of state social order and grant financing

Today, on February 8, 2021, within the framework of the "Days of the Ministry" initiated by the Ministry of Information and Social Development, a strategic session was held in the regions in the Atyrau region "Implementation of state social order projects and grant financing projects".

The event was chaired by the Deputy Chairperson of the Committee for Civil Society Affairs Gulbara Sultanova. The session was attended by over 20 people from among the representatives of the district, city and regional akimats of the Atyrau region, non-governmental organizations.

During the meeting, the head of the department for support of civil initiatives of the Ministry of Information and Social Development, Makpal Salyk, announced the main directions of the current policy, and also touched upon the problematic issues of implementation, formation and evaluation of projects within the framework of the state social order in the region.

Gulbanu Zamanbekova, Deputy Chairperson of the Center for Support of Civil Initiatives, made a report on grant financing and the policy pursued.

Gulbanu Zamanbekova spoke about the results of the Center's work for 2020 and plans for the upcoming period, explained the conditions for participation in competitions for grant funding, as well as the operator's services for the implementation of grants.

By the way, the Ministry is currently working on amendments to legal acts regulating the state social order.

As a result of the event, a dialogue took place, during which the organizers answered questions from representatives of the Atyrau region.
