Ministry of Information and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan held a seminar on topical issues of youth and family policy of Akmola region

Today, within the framework of the Strategic sessions of the IIOR of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the regions of Kazakhstan, the chairman of the Committee on Youth and Family Affairs Shakhmardan Baimanov held an online seminar for more than 70 employees of the Akimat of Akmola region, representatives of youth resource centers, regional youth organizations of Akmola region.
Sh.Baimanov spoke about the key results of work in the field of youth and family in 2020 and urgent tasks for 2021.
During the meeting, the main directions of the adopted Comprehensive Plan for Youth Support until 2025, as well as the draft law "On Amendments and Additions to Certain Legislative Acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on State Youth Policy" were discussed.
As part of the preparation of the above draft law, it is proposed to legislatively consolidate the "youth of the NEET category, the" Youth Development Index "and" youth work specialist ", etc.
Along with this, the director of the Research Center "Youth" Sakoshev Ayan said that within the framework of the draft law it is proposed to supplement the concept of "Youth Development Index" as a comprehensive indicator of the effectiveness of the activities of local executive bodies in terms of the implementation of state youth policy, including key indicators for the following industries: education, health and well-being, employment and opportunities, political participation, civic participation, leisure and access to infrastructure, security.
Employees of the Committee for Youth and Family Affairs answered a number of topical questions from their colleagues from the Akmola region, a constructive exchange of views took place to improve the work being done.
