Reminder of the need for timely submission of a report to the NGO Database

On January 1, 2021, the next deadline for submitting information on the activities of non-governmental organizations to the NGO Database began. According to paragraph 5 of Article 41 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Non-Commercial Organizations", information is provided annually until March 31. Submission of information to the NGO Database is a prerequisite for participation in the competition for the implementation of social programs and social projects within the framework of the state social order and state grants, as well as for receiving awards for NGOs. NGOs that have not submitted information about their activities to the Database are not allowed to participate in the tender procedures. It should be noted that being in the NGO Database will provide an opportunity for organizations to get acquainted with successful projects of Kazakhstani NGOs, exchange experience, establish cooperation and partnership. Information is provided in the form approved by order of the Minister of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 51 dated February 19, 2016 "On approval of the Rules for providing information about their activities by non-governmental organizations and the formation of a Database about them." Non-governmental organizations can send information about the organization's activities in one of the following ways: 1) through the Internet portal of the NGO Database https://infonpo.gov.kz/ (authorization on the Internet portal is possible using the EDS key of the legal entity obtained in the PSC); 2) via mail or on purpose on paper and electronic media (CD-disks or USB-flash drives in Word format) to the authorized body (Civil Society Committee of the Ministry of Information and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Nur-Sultan, Mangilik avenue El, 8 "House of Ministries", 15-entrance). For failure to provide, untimely provision and submission of inaccurate or knowingly false information to the NGO Database, liability is provided in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In this regard, we call on non-governmental organizations to submit information about their activities for 2020 to the NGO Database by March 31, 2021 through the information resource infonpo.kz.
