Participants of the project "Khalyk Oni" got acquainted with the problems of residents of WKO
Participants of the republican project "Khalyk Oni" ("Voice of the People") arrived in the West Kazakhstan region to help local residents solve their social and legal problems.
Earlier, the working group of the "Khalyk Oni" project visited the East Kazakhstan and Aktobe regions, where it considered 46 complaints from residents. Of these, 21 complex appeals were included in the protocol for further resolution with the participation of central state and law enforcement agencies.
The project is being implemented on the initiative of a member of the National Council of Public Trust under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, human rights activist Ayman Umarova. The partners of the project are the Ministry of Information and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Agency for Combating Corruption of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Altyn Qyran Foundation, and the Human Rights Lawyers PF.
The meetings with the population in the West Kazakhstan region began from the Burlinsky district, where the project participants visited social institutions and held a meeting with visitors. In the neighboring Shyngyrlausky district, Chairman of the Anti-Corruption Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan Alik Shpekbaev, Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Civil Society Affairs of the IIOR of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nurbol Serikbekov and the author of the project Aiman Umarova held a reception of citizens. Residents appealed on the issues of repairing highways, providing drinking water to settlements, installing mobile and Internet communications in remote villages of the WKO, participating in housing programs, building social facilities, etc.
In general, 25 appeals were received from the residents of the West Kazakhstan region to the processing of the working group. Everyone's question is taken into account.
According to Aiman Umarova, a member of the National Council of Public Trust under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, work to ensure barrier-free communication of the population will begin with establishing contacts with local executive bodies.
“Today we visited social facilities and held meetings with the population. We will have to not only establish feedback with citizens, but also show the transparency of the activities of state bodies, explain the course of state policy in various spheres of life. There are problems, and they can be solved. They are solved by joint efforts of the public and government agencies. Many problematic issues were raised. Some were given answers on the spot, and complex problems and questions will be sent to the Administration of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, ”said Ayman Umarova.
