The IX Civil Forum is open

Today, on November 23, with the participation of the Minister of Information and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan Aida Balaeva, the opening of the IX Civil Forum "Society and the State: 30 years of partnership and development" Birgemiz "took place.

Let us remind you that a week of civil society is being held in Kazakhstan from 23 to 27 November.

Aida Balayeva greeted the participants and noted that the forum has established itself as an authoritative, representative and useful platform for establishing mutually beneficial cooperation between government bodies and non-governmental organizations.

“It is important that the road for civic initiatives, opened by the First President - Elbasy Nursultan Abishevich Nazarbayev at the dawn of Independence and successfully promoted by the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Kemelovich Tokayev, remains broad and accessible for promoting a positive agenda in this direction, even despite the current restrictions in a global pandemic. This suggests that long-term interests in various spheres of our interaction prevail over any temporary difficulties, ”the minister emphasized.

According to the Minister of Information and Social Development, the dialogue between representatives of the authorities, the expert community, business circles and civil society will further contribute to the development of equal cooperation and increase confidence and prosperity.

“In this regard, the search for joint solutions to overcome existing and new challenges to sustainable social development in the era of global changes is one of the most urgent tasks. Of course, this requires initiative and creativity from all of us, dedication and confidence in success. Once again I would like to congratulate you on the beginning of the Forum, I wish you fruitful meetings and discussions! ”- Aida Balaeva wished.

This year the event was organized online, thanks to which the program will include not only traditional speeches, discussions and trainings, but also video podcasts, as well as meetings of ministers with representatives of the non-governmental sector.

It should be reminded that the event was organized by the Civil Alliance of Kazakhstan with the support of the Ministry of Information and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
