III meeting of the Volunteer Council of Leaders of Volunteer Organizations of Kazakhstan and Russia

November 10 this year in the city of Nur-Sultan, the III meeting of the Volunteer Council of leaders of volunteer organizations of Kazakhstan and Russia was held in an online format.

Last year at the Forum of Kazakh-Russian Youth in Kostanay, at the initiative of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan K.K. Tokayev this discussion platform was created.

The aim of the council is to organize cooperation in the development of youth and volunteer movement aimed at expanding the practice of information, methodological and expert development.

The meeting was attended by Chairman of the Committee on Youth and Family Affairs Sh. Baimanov, Chairman of the Committee on Civil Society Affairs M. Kozhakhmet and Head of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs A. Bugaev, as well as heads of volunteer organizations of the two countries.

Participants and active youth expressed their readiness for further cooperation, implementation of joint projects, exchange of information and experience.

On the agenda, the speakers discussed plans for joint actions for the implementation of youth policy and volunteering for 2021. We agreed on the new composition of the council, discussed the International Prize "Volunteer of the Year" awarded to encourage volunteers, volunteer groups and organizations that have contributed to the solution of useful social and social problems.

Earlier, two meetings of the Volunteer Council took place, the first online meeting took place on August 28, the second was organized by the Russian side on October 28, also online.
