On November 9 of this year, the Ministry of Information and Social Development, in partnership with the Youth Congress of Kazakhstan, launched the Republican youth educational project «Жаңа жағдайдағы жастар: Іс-қимыл кезеңі» with online connection of all regions of the country. The goal of the project is to consolidate youth in new realities and create conditions for their self-development. The first guest of the educational project was Dariga Nazarbayeva, director of the Nursultan Nazarbayev Foundation. “We all understand perfectly well that the pandemic will not end quickly and we must be ready to act for a long time in its conditions. For you and me, this means continuing to help those in need of support. It means learning safety rules, learning responsibility for yourself and those around you. It also means supporting and promoting the best experience in every possible way, helping to pass it on to others. Now the country especially needs simple and concrete small deeds. Each in its place. The title of the project says about “the action of youth in new realities”, which means that modern youth face new challenges, ”said Dariga Nazarbayeva. During the opening ceremony, Minister of Information and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan Aida Balayeva noted: “Dear project participants! The coronavirus pandemic has made some adjustments to our plans, but also showed that we can and should work effectively online. The epidemic has changed the way people think, their attitude to life, we have all become more responsible and sensitive in our work and everyday life" Within the framework of the project, within a month, young Kazakhstanis will improve their skills, acquire new leadership and vital competencies with the involvement of qualified trainers, experts and inviting guests. In order to activate social dialogue on topical youth problems and develop mechanisms for social partnership within the framework of the project, discussions of youth are planned with the participation of the leadership of central government bodies. The work will be carried out in five main areas: civic activism, volunteering, information technology, youth entrepreneurship and personal development. The project will be carried out in an online format; representatives of youth from all over the country can take part in it.
