The 1st Republican Congress of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan on the Study of the State Language was held

On October 23 of this year, the I Republican Congress of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan on the study of the state language was held in the House of Friendship of Almaty.
The purpose of the congress is to popularize the state language as a language of interethnic communication among Kazakhstanis.
The event was attended by the Deputy Chairman of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan Zh.K. Tuimebayev, vice minister of information and social development
M.A. Azilkhanov, experts in philology and linguistics, representatives of the creative intelligentsia, members of the ANC and youth associations.
During the congress, representatives of ethnic groups who are fluent in the state language shared their successful experience of studying it.
The participants also discussed issues of strengthening the role of the Kazakh language, the prospects of "social lifts" for citizens of the country who speak the state language.
As a result of the event, the congress participants voiced an Appeal of representatives of ethnic groups to support the initiative of the Head of State to improve the status of the state language and its use in society as a language of interethnic communication.
