A working meeting was held to discuss the implementation of state policy in the field of religions

Today, October 14, under the chairmanship of the Minister of Information and Social Development Aida Balayeva, a working meeting was held to discuss the implementation of state policy in the field of religions.

The meeting was attended by deputy akims of regions, cities of republican significance and the capital, representatives of the Headquarters of the Anti-Terrorist Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as heads of regional departments in the field of religious activities.

Following the meeting, Minister of Information and Social Development Aida Balayeva emphasized that the main tasks of state policy in the field of religion are to strengthen the secular principles of the state, close cooperation with religious associations, as well as prevent the spread of radical ideology in society.

During the meeting, recommendations were given to local executive bodies to further improve their activities in the field of religion.
