Yeraliev Yerzhanbek, participant of the seminar in Nur-Sultan: “Such explanations for all laws should be given. For example, I would not have found out about notifications, specialized places, distinctive forms of the organizer, thanks to the coach, he explained everything very competently. "
For reference:
The Law on Peaceful Assemblies is one of the first bills developed within the framework of the initiatives of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan K.K. Tokayev.
Let us recall that before that, the law regulating the organization and conduct of peaceful assemblies was adopted more than 25 years ago. This is not just about changes to the current law, but about a conceptually new law that regulates the organization and conduct of all forms of peaceful assembly. The relevance and timeliness of the development of this law was noted by domestic and international experts.
Within the framework of the instructions of the Head of State K.K. Tokayev on the implementation of the concept of "Hearing State", about 20 hearings were held in 9 cities of Kazakhstan with the involvement of the general public, representatives of civil society and the media. Based on the results of public discussion and consultations with civil society institutions, a number of amendments were made to the draft law. The discussion process was widely covered in the media.
