More than 100 fake messages were debunked by the Stopfake.kz resource, which was created with the support of the Ministry of Information and Social Development.

For 2 months, that is how long the new information resource has been working, 91 refutation of false messages were published, and explanations were given on 37 topics. Much of the fake news, manipulation, and conspiracy theories have been related to medical topics and social media scams.

The Stopfake.kz project was created in order to stop the spread of false information on the Web and reduce the level of confusion and misconceptions, as well as to remind readers of the importance of critical thinking.
