A meeting was held on the implementation of state policy in the field of interethnic relations

On September 18 of this year, chaired by the Minister of Information and Social Development Balayeva A.G. an online meeting was held on the implementation of state policy in the field of interethnic relations.

The meeting was attended by deputy akims of regions, cities of republican significance and the capital, heads of internal policy / social development departments, heads of the secretariats of regional ANC.

In the speeches of the Vice Minister of Information and Social Development M. Azilkhanov, Director of the Institute of Applied Ethnopolitical Research T. Kaliev, Director of the Russian State University "Kogamdyk Kelisim" M. Otarbaev and Vice President of the Otandastar Foundation M. Sarbasov, it was reported on the current state of affairs and forthcoming work plans.

The meeting discussed the situation in the field of interethnic relations, problematic issues and measures to resolve them. The need to modernize the work of local executive bodies, institutions "Kogamdyk Kelisim" and public structures of the ANC was noted.

Following the meeting, the Minister of Information and Public Development emphasized the importance of effective work of state bodies to ensure public stability and interethnic harmony.

A number of specific instructions were given to further improve their activities in the interethnic sphere, to actively involve civil society, ethnocultural associations, and the media in joint work.
