Kazakhstan has launched its annual industry competition for technical specialists, timed to coincide with Telecommunications Workers' Day. The large-scale competition, organised under the auspices of the Ministry of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development, is being held for the second consecutive year, consolidating its status as the key platform for promoting engineering professions within the Year of Artificial Intelligence and Digitalisation.
This year, teams from nine of the country's leading telecommunications companies are competing for the title of best. Participants include employees of Kazakhtelecom JSC, Mobile Telecom-Service LLP, Kcell JSC, KaR-Tel LLP, Jusan Mobile JSC, Transtelecom JSC, Freedom Telecom Operations LLP, and Elitecom LLP.
The main stage of the competition focuses on practical fibre optic cable splicing tests. This process is a critical link in the construction of network infrastructure, as the speed of data transmission and the overall stability of internet connectivity depend directly on the quality of connections.
The competition not only raises the professional standing of industry workers but also creates a platform for the exchange of experience among telecommunications sector specialists.
