Cybersecurity and Data Protection Discussed at Fortinet Security Day Almaty 2026

Fortinet Security Day Almaty 2026, an event dedicated to the development of cybersecurity in the context of digitalisation, was held in Almaty. The event featured an address by the Chairman of the Committee on Information Security of the Ministry of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Talgat Mustagulov.

The need to raise the maturity of cybersecurity processes, develop human capital, and increase public awareness of basic cybersecurity requirements was also noted.

The address concluded by underscoring the importance of a comprehensive approach involving both the state and the market in ensuring cybersecurity within a developing digital economy.
