Kazakhstan is broadening its cooperation with Tajikistan in the field of digital transformation. The Digital Government Support Centre of the Ministry of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan has signed a memorandum of cooperation with Ayon Smart Solution (Republic of Tajikistan).
The cooperation is aimed at developing digital government services, deploying GovTech solutions and artificial intelligence technologies, and advancing the architecture of state information systems and data management. In practical terms, this involves solutions that simplify the interaction of citizens and businesses with the state and improve the efficiency of government processes.
The parties agreed to collaborate on the re-engineering of government processes, the transition to a platform-based digitalisation model, the development of Big Data systems, and intelligent decision-support.
The parties are also exploring the promotion of digital solutions and technological expertise in Central Asian markets.
"We view this cooperation as an opportunity not only to develop digital solutions domestically but also to scale Kazakhstani GovTech practices at the regional level. This involves the promotion of digital platforms, the implementation of joint projects, and the export of technological expertise. In the longer term, this could serve as the foundation for establishing a regional centre of competence in GovTech for Central Asia," noted Aliya Ospanova, CEO of the Digital Government Support Centre.
